GOLF TAKES SEVENTH PLACE AT ST. THOMAS AQUINAS SPRING INVITE
Berlin, Md. (4/14/15) The Dominican College golf team took seventh place with a team score of 644 in the St. Thomas Aquinas Spring Invite held at Rum Pointe Golf Course this past Sunday and Monday.
Berlin, Md. (4/14/15) The Dominican College golf team took seventh place with a team score of 644 in the St. Thomas Aquinas Spring Invite held at Rum Pointe Golf Course this past Sunday and Monday.
Host, St. Thomas Aquinas College won the team title with a score of 576, followed by Nyack College, 585, Messiah College 590, Chestnut Hill College 606, Adelphi University 621, Post University 625, Dominican College 644 and Felician College 645.
Colin Costigan (Point Pleasant, N.J.) tied for 25th place with rounds of 77 and 81 for a 158 total score.
Jacob DeMoura (Westerly, R.I.) took 31st place with a score of 162 (79, 83), while Kenneth Platt (Chestnut Ridge, N.Y.) tied for 32nd place with rounds of 82 and 81 for a 163 total score.
Senior Michael Morton (Hawthorne, N.J.) and Brian McGuigan (Hawthorne, N.J.) both tied for 34th place with a 165 total score. Morton shot an 83 and 82, while McGuigan had a 79 and 86.
Dominican will be in action next week at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships.
