GOLF SITS IN SIXTH PLACE AFTER DAY ONE OF CACC CHAMPIONSHIPS
Lafayette Hill, Pa. (4/21/15) The Dominican College golf team had an opening round team score of 323 to put them in sixth place after day one of the 2015 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Golf Championships being held at the ACE Club.

Wilmington University is currently in first place with a team score of 295, followed by Nyack College with a 307, Concordia College with a 308, Post University with a 318 and Goldey-Beacom College rounds out the top five with a 321.
For the Chargers, sophomore Jacob DeMoura (Westerly, R.I.) had a first round score of 73 (+1) to sit in a tie for second place.
Kenneth Platt (Chestnut Ridge, N.Y.) is in 25th place with a score of 80 (+8), while senior Michael Morton (Hawthorne, N.J.) is tied for 30th place with a score of 83 (+11).
Brian McGuigan (Hawthorne, N.J.) and Colin Costigan (Point Pleasant, N.J.) are tied for 40th place with a first rounds score of 87 (+15).
The final round of the championship tees off tomorrow at 8 a.m., as the winner of the tournament will claim the CACC's automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Regional Tournament in a couple of weeks.
