MEN'S BASKETBALL CHARGE PAST CALDWELL COLLEGE
Orangeburg, NY (2/9/11) The Dominican College men's basketball team charged past the visiting Caldwell College Cougars, 89-51, this evening in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) North Division game played on Coach Baxter Court at the Hennessy Center. All 13 Charger players netted points in the victory.

All 13 Charger players netted points in the victory.
Dominican got things rolling with a 20-6 run over the first 8:12 of the game and maintained a double-digit lead the entire rest of the half, leading by as many as 19 points (43-24) en route to a 43-26 halftime lead.
The first 4:09 of the second half saw the Chargers outscore the Cougars 14-7 to take a commanding 57-33 lead and cruised to the 89-51 victory.
Senior center Almin Hodzic (Budd Lake, NJ) led three Chargers in double figures with a game leading 18 points and six blocks. Freshman Khaleev Ginyard (Brentwood, NY) tallied 15 points (shooting 5-10 from the three point line), while guard Leon Porter (Laurel, MD) netted 12 points, a team leading five assists and six rebounds in the victory.
Cory Quimby (Otisville, NY) and rookie Justin Turner (Trumbull, CT) each netted eight points off the bench, while Quimby added a team leading seven rebounds.
With the victory Dominican improves to 14-10 overall and 10-4 in the CACC.
DC returns to action on Saturday as they host Chestnut Hill College in the 24th Annual Bobby Mulligan Memorial Game at 3pm.
