Nyack, N.Y. (11/23/13) The Dominican College men's basketball team improved to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play after upending the Warriors of Nyack College, 67-63, in a game played at the Bowman Gymnasium this afternoon.

Junior forward Nick Smith (Middletown, N.Y.) led the Chargers with 17 points (7-14 from the floor) and added four rebounds.
Robert Hueston (Middletown, N.Y.) contributed 12 points as he went 6-8 from the field in the win.
Guard Joe Clinton (Pearl River, N.Y.) had a game leading and career high nine assists and seven rebounds, while Justin Turner (Trumbell, Conn.) also grabbed seven rebounds and had seven points off the bench.
Justin Ringen (Greenlawn, N.Y.) also scored seven points off the bench, while A.J. Burton (New Rochelle, N.Y.) had a night best 11 caroms.
The Warriors led 20-19 with just under five minutes remaining in the first half when senior Khaleev Ginyard* (Brentwood, N.Y.) began a 10-3 Charger run with a jump shot to give DC a 30-22 advantage with under a minute to go. Turner closed out the half with two free throws for a 32-23 Charger lead at the break.
Dominican led by as many as 15 points in the second half, but the Warriors would come back to cut the lead to two points, 65-63, with 44 ticks left on the clock. With 0:10 left, Burton went 2-2 from the line to seal the 67-63 Dominican win.
The Chargers are back on the court on December 1st as they host Philadelphia University.
