(1/25/14) The Dominican College men's basketball team scored a season high 108 points this afternoon to defeat the visiting Lions of Georgian Court University, 108-62, in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played on Coach Baxter Court in the 26th Annual Bobby Mulligan Memorial Game.

(1/25/14) The Dominican College men's basketball team scored a season high 108 points this afternoon to defeat the visiting Lions of Georgian Court University, 108-62, in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played on Coach Baxter Court in the 26th Annual Bobby Mulligan Memorial Game.
Dominican led 12-10 with 13:49 remaining in the first half, the Chargers took control with a 22-9 run to claim a 15-point advantage (34-19) with 8:27 to go. The team led by as many as 20 points in the first stanza en route to a 55-37 lead at the break.
DC never lost the double-digit lead in the second half as they went on to the 108-62 win.
Senior Khaleev Ginyard* (Brentwood, N.Y.) led five Dominican players in double figures with 23 points (7-12 from the three-point arc).
Justin Ringen (Greenlawn, N.Y.) scored a career high 15 points off the bench, while A.J. Burton (New Rochelle, N.Y.) also provided offense off the bench with 14 points and seven assists. Avery Walker (Voorhees, N.J.) posted career highs of 11 points and eight rebounds.
Senior Justin Turner* (Trumbull, Conn.) netted 14 points and six rebounds, while Joe Clinton (Pearl River, N.Y.) tied his career high with nine assists, four steals and seven pionts.
12 out of the 13 Chargers who played in today's contest put points on the board in the victory. The bench provided offense in the win as 57 points were scored off the bench.
Before the game, junior Robert Hueston (Middletown, N.Y.) was announced as the 2014 Bobby Mulligan Scholarship recipient.
The Chargers return to action on Tuesday as they travel to Post University.
