CHARGERS EARN WIN OVER CONCORDIA COLLEGE
Bronxville, N.Y. (11/25/14) The Dominican College men's basketball team improved to 2-2 overall and 2-0 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play after defeating host Concordia College, 76-62, this evening in a game played at Concordia College.

With the win, Dominican improves to 2-2 overall and 2-0 in CACC play.
Concordia took the early 18-8 lead with 12:58 left to play in the first half when the Chargers went on to score the next 10 consecutive points, with senior Nick Smith* (Middletown, N.Y.) scoring seven of them, to tie the score at 18-18.
Dominican closed out the first half with 10 unanswered points to make the score 28-28 at the break.
A three point bucket from junior Sean O'Reilly (Colts Neck, N.J.) tied the score at 53-53 with 9:53 left in regulation and the Chargers continued on their run with the next eight points to go up 61-53. A Clipper basket cut the lead to six points, but that would be as close as they would get as the Chargers went on to the 76-62 win.
Smith led two Chargers in double figures with 29 points (12-19 from the floor) and added five rebounds and two blocks.
Guard Joe Clinton* (Pearl River, N.Y.) added 10 points, eight rebounds and three assists.
Jared Fay (Lynn, Mass.) grabbed a team high nine rebounds and scored nine points. Kristopher Hargraves (Teaneck, N.J.) came off the bench to score a career high 11 points and had five rebounds in the victory.
Dominican will travel to non-conference opponent, Daemen College on November 30th.
