Philadelphia, Pa. (4/20/13) The Dominican College men's lacrosse team fell in East Coast Conference (ECC) action today, 14-3, to host Chestnut Hill College. Following the loss, Dominican drops to 0-10 overall and 0-5 in conference play while the Griffins improve to 6-5 overall and 3-2 in the ECC.

Philadelphia, Pa. (4/20/13) The Dominican College men's lacrosse team fell in East Coast Conference (ECC) action today, 14-3, to host Chestnut Hill College. Following the loss, Dominican drops to 0-10 overall and 0-5 in conference play while the Griffins improve to 6-5 overall and 3-2 in the ECC.
The Griffins led 2-0 when the Chargers struck for a goal as freshman attacker Joseph Ravenell (Copiague, N.Y.) netted the unassisted goal with 5:34 remaining in the first quarter. Trailing 3-1, attacker Jusstin Ruffin (Amityville, N.Y.) netted his sixth goal of the season off the assist from Anton Gjeloshi (Pomona, N.Y.) to make the score 3-2 with 1:36 to go.
From there CHC went on an 11-0 run before Ravenell scored his second game goal with 25 ticks left on the clock for the final 14-3 score.
Ravenell finished with two goals.
Goalie Matthew Quinones (Nanuet, N.Y.) made 15 saves in the loss.
