Hillburn, N.Y. (4/9/14) The American International College men's lacrosse team defeated the Dominican College men's lacrosse team, 14-10, this afternoon in a non-conference game played at the Torne Valley Sports Complex.
Freshman attacker Tanner Olsen (Chilliwack, Canada) led Dominican with four goals.
Conor Reeves (Tappan, N.Y.) and Theodore Wright (Copiague, N.Y.) each scored two goals and one assist.
Nicholas Capano (Troy, N.Y.) netted a goal and one assist, while Sean McGregor* (Bloomingburg, N.Y.) had the other DC goal.
Thomas Deringer (Nanuet, N.Y.) and Hunter Curran (Virginia Beach, Va.) each contributed one assist.
A man up goal from Wright with 14:36 left in the fourth quarter tied the game at 10-10, but a 4-0 closing run by AIC gave them the 14-10 win.
Charger goalie Matthew Quinones* (Nanuet, N.Y.) made 20 saves in the loss.
Following the loss, Dominican is now 2-8 on the season.
