(10/13/12) The Philadelphia University men's soccer team snapped the Dominican College men's soccer five-game winning streak after defeating the Chargers, 2-1, this afternoon in a game played at Ravenhill Field. With the loss, Dominican falls to 7-3-1 overall and 5-2-0 in the CACC.

(10/13/12) The Philadelphia University men's soccer team snapped the Dominican College men's soccer five-game winning streak after defeating the Chargers, 2-1, this afternoon in a game played at Ravenhill Field. With the loss, Dominican falls to 7-3-1 overall and 5-2-0 in the CACC.
The game was scoreless until the 51:10 mark when sophomore midfielder Luis Delpezo (Rye, N.Y.) tallied his first goal of the season after a pass from Sony Narro (Stamford, Conn.) to give the Chargers a 1-0 lead.
Philadelphia came back with goals in the 79th and 81st minute of play for the eventual 2-1 victory.
The Rams eduged the Charges 15-11 in shots and held a 6-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Charger keeper Andres Ruiz (Medellin, Colombia) made five saves in the loss.
DC takes on Nyack College on Tuesday afternoon in a game to be played at the DC Soccer Field.
