DOMINICAN AND POST ADVANCE TO 2012 CACC MEN'S SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL
Waterbury, Conn. (11/2/12) No. 2 seed Dominican College and No. 1 seed Post University each won their semifinal contest today in games played at LeMoy Field to advance to the Championship game of the 2012 CACC Men's Soccer Tournament which will be played on Sunday, November 4th at 1:30 pm at LaMoy Field in Waterbury, Conn.

Dominican topped the sixth-seeded Warriors of Nyack College, 4-1, this afternoon. DC was traling 1-0 as NC recorded a goal in the 13th minute of play.
From their the Chargers answered back with four consecutive goals. Midfielder Christopher Walsh (Baldwin, N.Y.) netted his fifth goal of the season on a shot from the left side of the goal which went into the right corner of the net off the pass from Manuel Valencia (New Rochelle, N.Y.) at the 42:18 mark to tie the game at 1-1.
Forward Clodalain Lolo (Stony Point, N.Y.) put Dominican ahead 2-1 at the 56:52 mark with this third goal of the year off the double assist from Valencia and senior Alex Rodier (Williamstown, N.J.).
Almost four minutes later Valencia scored his first goal of the season on a put back shot after an initial shot by Lolo to give DC a two goal lead, 3-1.
Senior Pedro De Araujo (Campinas-SP, Brazil) recorded the game's final goal at the 73:31 mark off the assist from Jorge Zubillaga (Punta del Este, Uruguay) for the final 4-1 score.
Keeper Andres Ruiz (Medellin, Colombia) made one save in the game.
Both teams had 12 shots each in the game, while Nyack had a 6-4 advantage in corner kicks.
In the other semifinal game, Post University defeated the fifth-seeded Wildcats of Wilmington University, 1-0.
