With the victory, the Chargers improve to 3-3 overall and 2-2 in conference play.
Forward Matheus Sousa (Cuiaba, Brazil) opened the scoring for Dominican with his first goal of the season on a shot from outside the box after the pass from Mark Grant (Tokoyo, Japan) at the 14:53 mark.
Grant later assisted on the goal of the game in the 60th minute as Luis DelPezo (Portchester, N.Y.) notched his first goal on the year on a shot from the right side for the eventual 2-0 win.
DC had the slight 12-11 edge in shots, while Eagles had the 4-1 advantage in corner kicks.
Charger keeper Steven Hegner (Pomona, N.Y.) made six saves in the victory.
Dominican will take on Chestnut Hill College this Sunday at 2:30 pm at the DC Soccer Field.
