Rutherford, NJ (2/7/11) The Felician College Golden Falcons used a 41-point first half performance en route to a 73-59 victory over the visiting Dominican College women's basketball team tonight in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action from Job Gymnasium.

Felician started the game off with a 10-2 lead and led 30-16 with 8:11 left in the first half. A three-point basket from sophomore guard Lindsey Lopez (Elmwood Park, NJ) with 0:02 on the clock before the break cut the deficit to 30-41.
In the second half, the Lady Chargers cut the lead to two points (52-54) with 8:50 left in regulation as junior guard Kaity Lent (Vineland, NJ) hit a shot from beyond the three point arc. Felician responded with a 14-4 run to regain a 68-56 advantage and never looked back en route to the 73-59 victory.
Junior forwar d Marley Klunk (York, PA) came off the bench to lead four Lady Chargers in double figures with 13 points (3-4 from the three point line) in the loss. Senior guard Shanice Scully (St. Albans, NY) netted 12 points and five rebounds, while junior Meghan Murphy (Carmel, NY) scored 11 points (4-7 from the floor and 3-3 from the three point arc). Lent finished with 10 points and senior Jasmine Schinella (Wappinger Falls, NY) tallied a team leading 11 rebounds.
With the loss Dominican falls to 7-13 overall and 5-8 in the CACC.
DC returns to the court on Wednesday night when they take on CACC North Division opponent, Caldwell College, on Coach Baxter Court at the Hennessy Center. Game time is slated for 6pm.
