LADY CHARGERS FALL IN NON-CONFERENCE ACTION
Orangeburg, N.Y. (1/7/14) The Dominican College women's basketball team lost their fifth straight contest this evening as they fell to non-conference opponent, Daemen College, 83-64, in a game played on Coach Baxter Court at the Hennessy Center.

With the loss, Dominican falls to 3-9 overall on the season.
Senior KC Jentzen* (Pearl River, N.Yl) led the team with 15 points (7-11 from the charity stripe) and eight rebounds in the loss.
Forward Lisa Bouffard (Wallkill, N.Y.) added 10 points and five caroms, while Aliyah Alston (Queens, N.Y.) came off the bench to net eight points.
The Lady Chargers struggled from the floor, shooting just 28.0% (21-75) and went just 3-20 (15.0%) from the free throw line.
The score was tied 8-8 with 16:09 left in the first half when the Wildcats went on a 14-0 tear to pull ahead 22-8 and held a 42-27 lead at the intermission.
Daemen extended the lead to as many as 22 points in the second half en route to the 83-64 victory.
Dominican is back in action on Saturday afternoon as they travel to Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) foe, Caldwell College.
