LATIMER AND TOMLINSON EARN ALL-CONFERENCE ACCOLADES
Orangeburg, N.Y. (3/2/21) Dominican College women's basketball players, Khay'la Latimer and Taylor Tomlinson have been named to the 2021 All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Team as was announced today by Commissioner Dan Mara. Anyssa Fields was named both the Player and Defensive Player of the Year, while Georgian Court University's Jasmina Perazic was tabbed the Coach of the Year.

(3/2/21) Dominican College women's basketball players, Khay'la Latimer and Taylor Tomlinson have been named to the 2021 All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Team as was announced today by Commissioner Dan Mara. Anyssa Fields was named both the Player and Defensive Player of the Year, while Georgian Court University's Jasmina Perazic was tabbed the Coach of the Year.
Latimer, who hails from Teaneck, N.J., makes her first appearance on the All-CACC Team. She rankes 14th in the CACC and is second on the team in scoring, while leadin the conference in three-point field goal percentage and three-point field goals. Latimer sits ninth in steals,10th in points and is in the top twenty in rebounds among CACC leaders.
Tomlinson, a forward from Middletown, N.Y., earns her second consecutive All-CACC honors in 2021. She leads the team and ranks ninth in the conference in scoring, while leading the team and sitting in sixth place in rebounds. Tomlinson also ranks sixth in the conference in field goals and blocks and is eighth in field goal percentage.
Fields led the league in scoring at 20.0 points per game during the regular season, as she helped guide GCU to a 7-0 record, the CACC regular season championship, and the No. 1 seed in this week's conference tournament. The Lions earned a first-round bye and will face either Concordia College or Caldwell University in Thursday's semifinals in Lakewood, N.J. She also led the league in rebounding at 11.4 boards a night. In addition to the major awards, Fields was also named to the 2020-21 CACC Women's Basketball All-Conference Team.
In addition to Fields, her coach Jasmina Perazic was voted the CACC Women's Basketball Coach of the Year. Perazic did an outstanding job leading the Lions to an undefeated regular season and a national ranking of 19th in the latest D2SIDA Top-25 Poll.
The other major awards handed out on Tuesday were the CACC Women's Basketball Team Sportsmanship Awards, which were given to both Caldwell University and Concordia College for demonstrating character and class during the regular season.
Fields was joined on the All-CACC Women's Basketball Team by seven other standouts. The list of honorees is as follows:
