DOMINICAN AND DOWLING PLAY 4 SETON HILL
Brookhaven, N.Y. (4/26/13) The non-conference women's lacrosse game played last night between Dominican College and Dowling College was dedicated to Kristina Quigley. Quigley was the head coach of Seton Hill's women's lacrosse team, whose life was tragically taken after a bus accident. All proceeds from the game will benefit the Gavin Quigley Scholarship Fund.

With the loss, the Lady Chargers end the regular season with an overall record of 7-7.
The Golden Lions defeated the Lady Chargers, 15-6, in the game fueled by a strong first half that saw Dowling leading, 9-2.
Dowling scored the first seven goals of the contest, before freshman attacker Amanda Shelton (Holtsville, N.Y.) broke the run with a free position goal with 7:34 left in the first half. Dominican scored the final goal of the half as sophomore Gina Sparaco (Freeport, N.Y.) netted a goal off the assist from Shelton for the 9-2 score.
The Lady Chargers scored four goals in the second half as Emily Murray (Oakdale, N.Y.) tallied the unassisted goalf with 26:36 left to make the score 10-3. Shelton followed almost 10 minutes later with her second free position goal of the game and attacker Allison Smithwick (Commack, N.Y.) scored the final two Lady Charger goals in the 15-6 loss.
Smithwick and Shelton both had two game goals.
Goalie Brittany Kiernan (Clarkstown, N.Y.) made nine saves in the loss.
