RAMS EDGE LADY CHARGERS IN DOUBLE OVERTIME
Philadelphia, Pa. (4/3/21) The Dominican College women's soccer team concluded the regular season with a heart-breaking 2-1 double overtime loss to host Thomas Jefferson University in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action played today at Ravenhill Field.

Philadelphia, Pa. (4/3/21) The Dominican College women's soccer team concluded the regular season with a heart-breaking 2-1 double overtime loss to host Thomas Jefferson University in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action played today at Ravenhill Field.
With the loss, Dominican now stands at 3-3-1 overall.
Dominican struck first as freshman forward Alyana Gonel (Teaneck, N.J.) scored her second goal of the season as she beat two Jefferson defenders to score on a shot to the lower left part of the net at 12:21 for the early 1-0 lead.
The Rams would tie the game before the intermission on an unassisted goal in the 39th minute for the 1-1 tie.
The score would remained tied until the 109th minute when Jefferson struck for the game-winning goal.
Keeper Lauren Buchanan (Union, N.J.) made a season high 10 saves.
DC has earned the fifth seed in the upcoming CACC Women's Soccer Championship Tournament which is slated to begin on Monday. The Lady Chargers will travel to fourth seeded Caldwell University for a 12pm kick off.
