LADY CHARGERS REMAIN UNBEATEN WITH SWEEP OVER UNIVERSITY OF THE SCIENCES
Philadelphia, Pa. (9/27/14) The Dominican College women's volleyball team improved to 7-0 overall and 4-0 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play after defeating the University of the Sciences, 3-0, this afternoon in a match played at Bobby Morgan Arena.
Philadelphia, Pa. (9/27/14) The Dominican College women's volleyball team improved to 7-0 overall and 4-0 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play after defeating the University of the Sciences, 3-0, this afternoon in a match played at Bobby Morgan Arena.
Dominican won the match in three sets by scores of 25-20, 25-8 and 25-21.
CACC Player of the Week, McKenzie John (Lafayette, La.) led all attackers with 16 kills and a .406 attack percentage and added nine digs.
Senior Kayla Dexter* (Selah, Wash.) added a season high 11 kills, while Cortney Yeoman (Glen Dale, Md.) recorded eight kills.
Libero Angela Kim (Marlton, N.J.) led the match with 15 defensive digs, while Amanda Hallstein* (Holtsville, N.Y.) contributed five kills and 12 defensive digs.
The Lady Chargers will travel to CACC North Division opponent, Post University on September 30th.
