The victory lifts the Lady Chargers to an overall record of 8-0 and a conference record of 5-0.
The Eagles took the first set, 25-16 but Dominican rallied to win the second frame, 26-24. Post won the third set, 25-18 and DC tied the match with a 25-22 fourth set. In the decisive set, Dominican closed out the match with three straight points in the 17-15 win.
In the fifth set the Eagles were at match point, 15-14, but a kill from McKenzie John (Lafayette, La.) made the score 15-all. A Post attack error put Dominican at match point and John ended the match with a kill off the pass from Amanda Hallstein* (Holtsville, N.Y.)
John led the match with 26 kills and added a team leading 15 digs.
Kayla Dexter* (Selah, Wash.) added 11 kills (.304 attack percentage), three block assists and five digs.
Hallstein finished with 20 assists, while Kera Dexter (Selah, Wash.) had 18 assists.
Angela Kim (Marlton, N.J.) had 13 digs and Keely Fink (Lagrangeville, N.Y.) recorded 12 digs.
DC will host Bloomfield College at the Hennessy Center on Friday night.
