LADY CHARGERS FINISTH FOURTH AT NJIT CLASSIC
Newark, N.J. (9/13/14) The Dominican College women's cross country team finished in fourth place at the NJIT Classic, hosted by New Jersey Institute of Technology and held at Branch Brook Park.
Newark, N.J. (9/13/14) The Dominican College women's cross country team finished in fourth place at the NJIT Classic, hosted by New Jersey Institute of Technology and held at Branch Brook Park.
Dominican finished with a team score of 84 to finish in fourth place in their division.
Sophomore Emily Lopez (Staten Island, N.Y.) was the top finisher for the team as she took seventh place overall with a time of 21:04.66.
Renee Roncace* (Valley Cottage, N.Y.) ran the 3k course in a time of 22:16.67 to finish in 12th place, while Mary Curatolo (Staten Island, N.Y.) had a time of 25:18.34 to take 20th place.
Felicia Walker (Bronx, N.Y.) and Khadijah Cox (New Milford, N.J.) finished in 22nd and 23rd place with times of 27:08.07 and 27:08.67 to round out the Lady Charger scoring.
DC will travel to the 3rd Annual Roadrunner Invitational to be hosted by Ramapo College of New Jersey next weekend.
