FIVE BASEBALL PLAYERS EARN ALL-CACC ACCOLADES
Orangeburg, NY (5/10/11) Five members of the Dominican College baseball team have earned All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) accolades as was announced today by the conference office.The CACC head coaches conducted the voting for the awards.

Dan Robinson and David Bartuska were named to the First Team, while teammates Andrew Camardella, Mario Lopez and Robert Iglesias all earned Second Team honors.
Robinson, a senior outfielder from Massapequa, NY, currently leads the team and is fifth in the conference in hitting. He leds the Chargers in hits and home runs and is one hit away from 200 career hits. In 2010, Robinson was named to the All-CACC Second Team and the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division II East All-Region Second Team. He was recently named the Dominican College baseball Most Valuable Player.
Bartuska, a junior right-handed pitcher who hails from Duryea, PA, leads the CACC and the Chargers in wins after posting an 8-2 record during the regular season. He is fourth in the conference and leads the team with an 1.77 ERA, tallying 79 strikeouts in 71.1 innings pitched. Opponents are hitting .210 against him. During the pre-season, he was selected as a pre-season All-America selection by Baseball America. In 2010, Bartuska was named to the Daktronics NCAA Division II East All-Region Second Team, the CACC All-Tournament Team, All-CACC First Team and the 2010 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division II East All-Region Second Team.
Lopez is a senior infielder from Anthony, NM, and has been a four-year starter for the Chargers. He is sporting a .300 average this season to place him second on the team and 13th in the CACC. He is second on the team in home runs and tied for third in stolen bases. Last he was named the CACC Tournament Most Valuable Player and earned one CACC Player of the Week honors.
Iglesias, a senior catcher who hails from Mays Landing, NJ, is fourth on the team and is in the top 25 in the conference. He has caught 32 games this season and has a .996 fielding percentage. He was named to the All-CACC Second Team in 2009 and received Honorable Mention honors in 2010.
Camardella, a sophomore infielder from Pelham, NY, is in the top five on the team in hitting and is sporting a .982 fielding percentage in 40 games played.
