
BARTUSKA NAMED TO RAWLINGS/AMERICAN BASEBALL COACHES ASSOCIATION ALL-AMERICAN TEAM
Orangeburg, NY (5/31/11) Dominican College baseball player, David Bartuska, has been named to the 2011 Rawlings/American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) NCAA Division II All-American Team as was announced today. Bartuska earned Third Team accolades after previously being named to the All-Region First Team.
Orangeburg, NY (5/31/11) Dominican College baseball player, David Bartuska, has been named to the 2011 Rawlings/American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) NCAA Division II All-American Team as was announced today. Bartuska earned Third Team accolades after previously being named to the All-Region First Team.
Bartuska, a junior right-handed pitcher who hails from Duryea, PA, led the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference and the Chargers in wins after posting an 9-2 record during this season. He was fourth in the conference and leads the team with an 1.59 ERA, tallying 86 strikeouts in 79.1 innings pitched. Opponents are hitting .205 against him. During the pre-season, he was selected as a pre-season All-America selection by Baseball America. He was named to the All- CACC First Team and the CACC All-Tournament Team. In 2010, Bartuska was named to the Daktronics NCAA Division II East All-Region Second Team, the CACC All-Tournament Team, All-CACC First Team and the 2010 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division II East All-Region Second Team.
