
GOLDEN FALCONS TOP CHARGERS
Pomona, N.Y. (4/9/24) The Dominican University New York baseball team fell in CACC action to the Golden Falcons of Felician University at Clover Stadium.
The Chargers fall to 11-22 overall and 6-7 in conference play while Felician improves to 19-17 overall and 9-4 in the CACC.
John Stoliker (Guilderland, N.Y.) took the mound for the Chargers and threw 4.2 innings striking out six but suffered the loss.
The Golden Falcons rallied in the fifth and sixth innings to extend their lead and secure the victory.
Tyler Richman (Sunrise, Fla.) finished 2-3 for the Chargers while Joseph Torres (Putnam Valley, N.Y.) reached base twice with a single and a walk.
Felician was led by Haiden Walters and Jose David Medrano each went 2-4 with Walters scoring two runs and Medrano drove in two runs. Chris Biolsi drove in three RBIs while Thomas Kendrick and Julian Uejima also drove in two RBIs.
The Chargers return to action Wednesday when they take on non-conference rival St. Thomas Aquinas College from Clover Stadium at 3:00 PM.
