CHARGERS GOLF TIE FOR SECOND PLACE AT FRANKLIN PIERCE INVITE

Townsend, Mass. (9/10/24)  The Dominican University New York men's golf team began the 2024-2025 season at the Franklin Pierce Invite where they tied for second place among the nine competiting teams.

The Chargers had a first round score of 294 and followed with a 297 today for a 591 total to tie with Assumption University.  Wilmington University won the team title with a 589 score.

Sophomore Bruno Pardo (Mexico City, Mexico) tied for sixth place in the tournament with rounds of 73 and 72 for a 145 (+5) total score.

Brikke Decoster (Lebbeke, Belgium) tied for ninth place with a 146 (+6) total score, following rounds of 72 and 74.

The Chargers return to action on September 16th when they travel to the Granite State Opener to be hosted by Southern New Hampshire University at the Beaver Meadow Golf Course in Concord, N.H.
