MEN'S GOLF FINISH FOURTH AT LAKER SPRING BREAK SHOOTOUT

Foxfire Village, N.C. (3/8/25)  The Dominican University New York golf team opened the spring portion of the 24-25 season with a fourth place finish at the Laker Spring Break Shootout, hosted by Mercyhust University at Foxfire Resort & Golf.

The Chargers had a first round score of 309, second round score of 309 and a final round score of 941 to finish in fourth place in the two-day tournament.

Junior Joseph Benesch was the high finisher for the Chargers as he tied for 14th place with a total score of 232.  Benesch fired off rounds of 78, 76 and 78.

Giacomo Moltedo and Alexander Lundvall both tied for 18th place with a total score of 237.  Moltedo had rounds of 82, 77 and 78, while Lundvall compiled scores of 76, 76 and 85.
