
MEN'S GOLF FINISH SECOND AT THOMAS JEFFERSON SPRING INVITATIONAL
Norristown, Pa. (3/21/25) The Dominican University New York golf team finished in second place at the Thomas Jefferson University Spring Invitational held yesterday and today at Jeffersonville Golf Course.
Following round one competition yesterday, the Chargers sat in first place with a 304 total score. Alexander Lundvall finished the first round with a 72 score to be in a tie for first place. Lundvall recorded two birdies in the first round on holes six and 12.
Lundvall followed up with an 81 score on day two to finish with a 153 score and second place finish. Lundvall had a birdie on hole 13.
Junior Joseph Benesch finished in fourth place overall at the end of the tournament with scores of 74 and 86 for a 160 score. In the first round, he recorded four birdies on holes three, six, ten and 16. On day two, he had a birdie on hole 16.
