
MEN'S BASKETBALL INCLUDED IN FIRST NCAA REGIONAL RANKINGS
NCAA Men's Basketball East Regional Rankings
Orangeburg, N.Y. (2/20/25) The Dominican University New York men's basketball team is one of ten teams in the East Region listed as under consideration for NCAA bids in the first NCAA Division II men's basketball rankings, as released by the regional advisory committee with games played through Feb. 16.
Listing the teams in alphabetical order for the first regional rankings, the 10 teams consist of Adelphi, Assumption, Bentley, Daemen, Dominican (N.Y.), Pace, Southern Connecticut State, Southern New Hampshire, Saint Anselm and St. Thomas Aquinas.
Dominican is currently 17-7 on the season and owns a win over Adelphi University. DUNY has also faced three of the other teams under consideration.
The Chargers have three players averaging over 10 points a game and two players averaging over five rebounds a game. The team is averaging 83.5 points per game, 38.0 rebounds per game and 14.0 assists per game. The team has scored over ninety points three times this season.
