CACC MEN'S BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP TIPS OFF ON TUESDAY WITH CHARGERS AS THE OVERALL TOP SEED

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (March 3, 2025) – The field and schedule for the 2025 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball Championship tournament were released today by CACC Commissioner Dan Mara. The tournament begins with Tuesday's quarterfinals before Thomas Jefferson University hosts the semifinals and finals on Saturday and Sunday, March 8 and 9.

Tuesday's games will be held at the sites of the higher seeds. Dominican University New York (19-7, 14-2 CACC) has won the CACC North Division regular-season championship and is the overall No. 1 seed for the tournament. The Chargers will host South Division No. 4 seed Wilmington University (9-19, 7-9) at 7:30 p.m. in Orangeburg, N.Y. Jefferson (15-12, 9-7) shared the CACC South crown with Chestnut Hill College and is the Division's No. 1 seed via tiebreaker, having defeated the Griffins twice during the regular season. The defending champion Rams will be home for South No. 4 Caldwell University (18-10, 9-7) at 7:30 in Philadelphia.

The other two first-round matchups will tip off at 6 p.m. South No. 3 seed Goldey-Beacom College (11-17, 8-8) travels to Waterbury, Conn., to face North No. 2 Post University (16-12, 10-6), and North No. 3 University of Bridgeport (10-18, 9-7) plays at South No. 2 Chestnut Hill (14-13, 9-7) in northwest Philadelphia.

The semifinals are set for Saturday at Jefferson's Gallagher Athletic, Recreation and Convocation Center at 5 and 7 p.m. Jefferson will also host the championship game on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.. The winner of the 2025 CACC Men's Basketball Championship will earn the league's automatic berth into the NCAA Division II East Region Championship tournament.

Tickets for all rounds of the 2025 CACC Men's Basketball Championship are $10 for adults, and $5 for children, senior citizens (65+) and students with valid identification.
