After the loss, the Chargers fall to 3-9 overall and 1-3 in conference play. The Wildcats improve to 3-6 overall and 2-2 in the CACC.
The Wildcats jumped out to a 9-0 lead in the first quarter including five different goal scorers.
Dominican got on the board with two goals at the start of the second quarter but the Wildcats answered with five of the next six goals of the game to take a 14-3 lead into halftime.
The Wildcats outscored the Chargers 6-5 in the third quarter and 5-2 in the fourth quarter on their way to the 25-10 victory.
Daniel Carson (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) recorded a team-high six points with five assists and one goal scored. Sean Cosgrove (Warwick, N.Y.) and Cole Vencak (Smithtown, N.Y.) each scored three goals. Vencak also finished with two assists and Cosgrove added one assist.
Zachary Souza (Stratford, Conn.) finished with two goals while Terence O'Loughlin (Nanuet, N.Y.) added one goal.
The Wildcats were led by Logan Stinson who scored seven goals and added two assists. Josh Lovely and TJ Caton each scored five goals. Jacob Herman finished with three goals and five assists.
The Chargers return to action on Saturday night when they host Caldwell University at the Torne Valley Sports Complex at 7:00 PM.
