Bio
Darren Calendrillo joins the coaching staff for his first season under Coach Sheiner and will work with the offense with a concentration on the attack position.
Calendrillo was an assistant boys lacrosse coach in the mid 1990's at Fair Lawn High School (N.J.) before being named interim head coach and leading the Cutters to the State Tournament Quarterfinals.
He then went on to Kean University (N.J.) as a volunteer coach and helped with alumni relations under Coach Sheiner.
Having the privilege to play for the legendary head coach Hawley Waterman and Mike Cleary at Kean College from 1990 through 1993, Calendrillo was a four-year letter winner and was on 2 ECAC Championship Teams (1990 and 1991) and a Knickerbocker Conference Championship Team (1993), twice being named All Conference (First Team in 1993). He was also a team captain and is a member of the Kean University Men's Lacrosse All-Decade Team of the 1990's. He was a multiple Knickerbocker Conference Offensive Player of the Week Award Winner, and in 1993, finished 3rd in the NCAA in scoring with 98 Points. At the time of his graduation, he was in the Top 5 in Goals and Points in Kean Lacrosse history.
He earned his B.A. in History from Kean in 1993 and has been in the Title Insurance Business for 30 Years, being the Co-Owner of Dynamic Title Agency of New Jersey, L,L.C. since 2006.
Calendrillo currently resides in Ridgewood, N.J. with his wife Krista and children, Carlo and Avery.
