FIRST HALF SCORING LEADS EAGLES OVER CHARGERS

Orangeburg, N.Y. (10/22/24)  The Dominican University New York men's soccer team were topped by the visiting Eagles of Post University, 2-0, this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played on Sister Mary Eileen O'Brien Field.

Following the game, the Chargers are now 2-9-1 and 1-6-1 in conference play.

The Eagles struck for their first goal in the 7th minute of the game and added a second at the 27:57 mark for the 2-0 lead and eventual victory.  Len Fliss recorded both goals for Post.

Post held the advantage in both shots, 17-14 and corner kicks, 7-4.

Charger keeper Joshua Kaandorp made six saves to Dominican in the loss.

Dominican returns to action on Saturday afternoon when they travel to Wilmington University.
