WILDCATS TOP MEN'S SOCCER

New Castle, Del. (10/26/24)  The Wilmington University men's soccer team shut out the visiting Chargers of Dominican University New York, 6-0, this afternoon in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action played at the WU Athletics Complex.

With the win the Wildcats improve to 6-7-2 overall and 5-3-1 in conference play, while the Chargers fall to 2-10-1 overall and 1-7-1 in the CACC.

WilmU scored three goals in each half for the 6-0 victory.

Dominican goalie Joshua Kaandorp made seven saves in the loss.

Oscar Chazalet let the Chargers with three shots in the game.

The Chargers return to action on Wednesday evening when they travel to non-conference foe, Bloomsburg University.
