LAUREDENT TAKES SECOND PLACE IN TRIPLE JUMP AT CACC TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Lakewood, N.J. (5/5/24)  The Dominican University New York men's track and field team finished in eighth place at the 2024 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Track and Field Championships held yesterday and today at the at the GCU Track & Field Complex and hosted by Georgian Court University.

Kenney Lauredent (Pomona, N.Y.) brought home a medal in the triple jump as he finished in second place with a jump of 46' 3.25".

Sophomore Jeffrey Li Rivera (Suffern, N.Y.) took third place in the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.42.

The 4x100m relay team of Aidan Mallon (Bohemia, N.Y.), Dariel Suarez (North Bergen, N.J.), Lauredent and Brian Thompson (North Bergen, N.J.) took fourth place with a time of 44.99.

Lauredent also had a top five finish in the long jump with a jump of 6.54m (21' 5.5") to take fifth place.
