CHARGERS TAKE PART IN FASTRACK NATIONAL INVITE

Staten Island, N.Y. (2/7/25)  Members of the Dominican University New York men's track and field team took part at the Fasttrack National Invite held on Friday at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.

Junior Jeffrey Li Rivera had the high finish of ninth place in the 60m hurdles.

MEN'S RESULTS

  • In the 60m hurdles, Jeffrey Li Rivera had the high finish of ninth place with a time of 9.11.
  • Maurice Douglas took 12th place in the 60m dash with a time of 7.21.
  • In the 200m dash Aaron Williams finished in 13th place with a time of 22.24.
  • Williams took 21st place in the 400m dash with a time of 50.46.  Thiea Shea finished in 99th place with a time of 53.82, followed by David Castro (113th place - 55.70), Steven Hanna (114th place - 55.71) and Sam Samala (116th place - 56.18)
  • The 800m run saw Samuel Fileen take 68th place with a time of 2:05.27 with Prince Copleand finishing in 73rd place with a time of 2:07.75 and Aidan Nelson taking 81st place with a time of 2:21.26.
  • Copeland competed in the mile run where he took 84th place with a time of 4:55.27.  Nelson finished in 88th place with a time of 5:11.33 and Deshawn Douglas took 90th place with a time of 5:36.91.
