Newark, N.J. (2/1/25) The Dominican University men's volleyball team lost a non-conference match to host, NJIT, 3-0, this evening ina match played at the Joel & Diane Bloom Wellness and Events Center.
The Highlanders won in straight sets by the scores of 25-17, 25-21 and 25-11 to improve to 4-2 overall.
Following the loss, the Chargers drop to 1-4 on the season.
Sophomore outside hitter Ayden Shaw led the team with eight kills, three digs and three block assists in the loss.
Phillip Kurisko tallied six kills, while Gavin Tate finished with five kills.
Setter Jamel Toste recorded 19 assists and four digs, while Tyler Roukey also had four digs.
Dominican returns to action next Friday evening when they take on CSUN in the first of three matches during their trip to California.
