
RED FLASH EVENS SERIES WITH MEN'S VOLLEYBALL
Loretto, Pa. (2/22/25) The Dominican University New York men's volleyball team wrapped up the two match series with the Red Flash of Saint Francis University witha 3-1 loss this evening in the non-conference match played in DeGol Arena.
The Red Flash won the match in four sets by the score of 3-1 (25-22, 24-26, 25-14 and 25-22).
The loss drops the Chargers to a 2-12 record on the season.
Dominican won the second set where red-shirt freshman Blake Krapf recorded a kill to put the team at set point and Tommso Falchi recorded a huge solo block for the 26-24 set win. DUNY recorded a .409 attack percentage in the set with 12 kills.
The Chargers had a team high 13 kills in the first set and a .450 attack percentage (10 kills) in the final set.
Krapf finished with a team high 14 kills and 10 digs in the loss, with setter Jamel Toste had 35 assists.
Sophomore Jacob Davidson tallied 12 kills and a .360 attack percentage, while Ayden Shaw recorded a .667 attack percentage, 10 kills and five digs.
Dominican returns to action on Wednesday afternoon when they travel to American International College for the East Coast Conference (ECC) opener.
