Orangeburg, N.Y. (3/20/25) The Dominican University New York men's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to the Warriors of Merrimack College this evening in non-conference action on Coach Baxter Court in the Hennessy Center.
MC took the match in straight sets by scores of 34-32, 25-13, 25-22.
Following the loss, the Chargers now stand at 5-16 on the season.
Dominican's strongest set was the first set where the team recorded 18 kills and just four errors for a .368 attack percentage.
Sophomore outside hitter Ayden Shaw led the Chargers with a season high 14 kills, a .440 attack percentage and tallied five digs.
Blake Krapf recorded six kills, while Gavin Tate had five kills.
Setter Jamel Toste had a team best 23 assists and 10 digs with libero Tyler Roukey also recorded 10 digs in the loss.
Dominican returns to action on Saturday evening when they travel to Merrimack College.
