
CHARGERS TURNED AWAY BY D'YOUVILLE
Orangeburg, N.Y. (3/30/25) The Dominican University New York men's volleyball team fell in non-conference action to the Saints of D'Youville University this afternoon on Coach Baxter Court.
The Saints sweep the season series 2-0 after taking their first meeting back in January. The Chargers drop to 5-19 overall while the Saints improve to 6-11 overall.
Dominican opened the match with a 27-25 victory but the Saints bounced back to win three consecutive sets to close out the 3-1 victory.
Ayden Shaw and Blake Krapf combined for 26 kills with 13 each. Krapf, also the team leader in service aces, added five more in the match. Shaw picked up two service aces and one block assist.
Daniel Malcolm and Gavin Tate each finished with five kills and Malcolm added a team-high four total blocks.
Jaiden Wilcox finished with a team-high 36 assists, four kills and three total blocks. Tyler Roukey finished with a team-high eight digs.
The Chargers return to action on Friday night when they visit Harvard.
