MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY TRAVEL TO HIGHLANDER INVITATIONAL

Newark, N.J. (10/12/24)  The Dominican University New York men's cross country team finished in 24th place today at the Highlander Invitational, hosted by New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), at Branch Brook Park.

The Chargers finished with a team score of 604 to finish 24th among the 31 competing teams.

Junior Samuel Fileen was the top finisher for Dominican in the 8k race as he took 88th place overall out of 246 runners with a time of 29:28.3 (05:55.7 average).

The Chargers return to action next Sunday when they compete in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Cross Country Championships to be held at Belmont Plateau and hosted by Thomas Jefferson University.
