Stroudsburg, Pa. (3/12/25) The Dominican University New York softball team dropped a non-conference double-header to host, East Stroudsburg University, 6-0 and 13-0 in games played this afternoon at Creekview Park.
Following the games, the Lady Chargers now stand at 3-11 overall.
Game One: The game was scoreless until the bottom of the fiftht inning when the Warriors scored six runs ons seven hits and one error to bring home the win.
Starter Emily Baxter suffered the loss in five innings of work.
Sarah Davenport earned the complete game, no-hitter win for the Warriors.
Game Two: ESU scored runs in each of their first four innings en route to the 13-0 win.
Catcher Giovanna Salcido had the lone hit for the Lady Chargers.
Victoria Iorio took the loss.
Dominican returns to action tomorrow afternoon in their home opener against non-conference foe, the College of Staten Island.
