LADY CHARGERS TRACK END SEASON AT YALE SPRINGTIME INVITATIONAL

New Haven, CT (5/1/11) The Dominican College women's track team finished the 2011 season at the Yale Springtime Invitational which was held today at Yale University.

New Haven, CT (5/1/11) The Dominican College women's track team finished the 2011 season at the Yale Springtime Invitational which was held today at Yale University.

Junior Samantha Klunk (York, PA) finished in sixth place in the steeplechase event with a time of 12:10.23.

Freshman Jessica Avila (Mount Vernon, NY) took 36th place with a time of 5:23.23 in the 1500 meter run, while Sarah Dugandzic (Suffern, NY) finished in 45th place with a tim eof 5:45.16.

Keyla Kruz (Bronx, NY) tookpart in the 800 meter run where she ran a time of 2:47.31 to finish in 56th place and Amanda Castro (New Rochelle, NY) finished in 59th place with a time of 2:53.33.

Sophomore Sharrika Brent (Brooklyn, NY) competed in the 200 meter dash and ran a time of 28.66 to finish in 18th place.

Avila, Dugandzic, Klunk and Cruz competed in the 4x100 meter relay where the group finished in 10th place with a combined time of 4:33.01.
