
WOMEN'S BOWLING TABBED FOURTH IN THE 2024-25 PRESEASON COACHES POLL

New Haven, Conn. (10/10/24) Felician University has been selected first in the 2024-25 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Bowling Preseason Coaches Poll. The results of the balloting were released today by CACC Commissioner Dan Mara. Felician received 24 points in the voting and four first-place votes.
The Golden Falcons return three All-CACC performers from a year ago, including 2023-24 Rookie of the Year Vivian Luna. Senior Ashley Ferrara and sophomore Samantha Slocum are also returning all-conference selections.
Wilmington University, a 2024 CACC finalist, was chosen second in the poll with 20 points, and two-time defending conference champion Caldwell University was picked third with 19 points. Each school received one first-place vote. The Wildcats return three all-CACC honorees, while 2024 league Bowler of the Year Lauren Marks is among those back for Caldwell.
Dominican University New York was selected fourth with 11 points, followed by Chestnut Hill College with nine and Holy Family University with seven.
The CACC is in its third year of sponsoring women's bowling as a championship sport. For the first time, the conference champion will automatically qualify for the NCAA National Collegiate Women's Bowling Championship.
The 2024-25 CACC Women's Bowling Championship will be hosted by Chestnut Hill on March 22-23 at Pike Lanes in Southampton, Pa. The conference will feature a pair of regular-season tournaments in November and March to determine the four teams that will advance to the postseason championship.
