New Castle, Del. (10/12/24) Freshman Kyra Walter averaged 217.2, including a high of 257 in her second game, to finish third in first-day pinfall among all competitors. The Lady Chargers won three times today to open the 24-25 season at the Bud Whitman Memorial.
Dominican defeated Howard University (906-796), Saint Anselm College (1,044-892) and Mollloy University (913-782) for the day's three victories during traditional play and sit fifth overall among the 15 competing teams.
Redshirt freshman Angelina Tati averaged 208 with a high game of 235 to be eighth overall, while Stephanie O'Malley averaged 190 (with two games over 200).
Natalie Christopher averaged 169.2 over five games, while Caroline Dillon averaging 153.4 over five games.
The event switches to Baker format on Sunday for five more matches.
