
LADY CHARGERS FINISH THIRD AT SECOND CACC MEET
Lodi, N.J. (3/2/25) The Dominican University New York women's bowling team completed play at CACC Meet #2 from Lodi Lanes in Lodi, N.J. hosted by Felician University.
Dominican finished in third place for the weekend after going a total of 4-4 between the traditional matches on Saturday and the baker matches on Sunday. The Lady Chargers now hold an overall record of 45-59.
Dominican opened the weekend with two traditional match wins over Wilmington University 909-854 and Holy Family University 828-788.
Dominican fell to host Felician University in the third match and then Caldwell University in the fourth match to finish the day 2-2.
Freshman Stephanie O'Malley was the top finisher for the Lady Chargers in the individual standings as she placed fifth with a total pinfall of 726. O'Malley finished with a sum average of 181.50 with a high game of 188 in games one and two.
Caroline Dillon, Kyra Walter, and Angelina Tati placed 8th, 9th, and 10th. Dillon averaged 176.75 with a high game of 201 in the final match. Walter finished with a sum average of 176.50 and rolled a team-high 211 in game three. Tati averaged a 176.00 with her high game of 193 in the opening game.
The Lady Chargers returned for day two on Sunday. Dominican took on Caldwell University to open day two and earned an 810-792 victory. Dominican fell to Felician University in their second match but bounced back to defeat Wilmington University for the second time on the weekend 908-769.
Dominican fell in their final match to Holy Family University 805-770 to end day two with a 2-2 record and the tournament 4-4. The Lady Chargers finished the tournament in third place.
The Lady Chargers return to action on March 15th and 16th for the Northeast Roundup hosted by Wilmington University.
