
LADY CHARGERS EARN NON-CONFERENCE WIN OVER ST. THOMAS UNIVERSITY

After the win, the Lady Chargers improve to 2-1 overall this season.
Kristinamarie Kaszovitz (Hicksville, N.Y.) started in goal for the Lady Chargers and earned the win. Kaszovitz made four saves in the win. Kathryn Ehrlinger (Levittown, N.Y.) split time in goal for Dominican and recorded two saves.
Anna Kaminskey (Mount Sinai, N.Y.) and Erica Ortiz (Slate Hill, N.Y.) combined for eight goals by scoring four goals each in the win. Caitlin Costello (Seaford, N.Y.) led the way in points with nine on three goals and six assists.
Madelyn Grella (Monmouth Beach, N.J.) and Grace DeStasio (West Hempstead, N.Y.) each added three goals in the win. Grella recorded four assists while DeStasio recorded two assists.
Sydney Strohmayer (Rocky Point, N.Y.) and Jordana Tomasetti (Middletown, N.J.) each added two goals while Ellie Brouwer (West Long Branch, N.J.) and Jada Garcia (Old Bridge, N.J.) each added one goal.
St. Thomas scored first to open the game but Dominican answered with seven consecutive goals. St. Thomas ended the run late in the first quarter but Dominican added one more goal before the end of the first quarter for an 8-2 lead.
Dominican outscored St. Thomas 7-0 in the second quarter and held a 15-2 lead by halftime. The Lady Chargers added four goals in the third quarter and four goals in the fourth quarter on their way to the 23-4 victory.
The Lady Chargers return to action tomorrow night when they travel to Palm Beach Atlantic University at 7:00 PM.
