The Lady Chargers improve to 7-1 overall and 2-0 in the CACC while the Golden Falcons fall to 1-5 overall and 0-2 in the conference.
Kristinamarie Kaszovitz (Hicksville, N.Y.) started in goal for the Lady Chargers and recorded four saves in the win to improve to 7-1 on the season. Kathryn Ehrlinger (Levittown, N.Y.), Katharina Cohen (Sparta, N.J.), and Rebecca Nutting (Marcellus, N.Y.) all saw action in goal for Dominican.
Ilyanna Rivera started in goal for the Golden Falcons and made nine saves but suffered the loss.
Grace DeStasio (West Hempstead, N.Y.) scored a team-high seven goals and recorded two assists for nine points for the Lady Chargers. Madelyn Grella (Monmouth Beach, N.J.) also finished with nine points on six goals and three assists. Caitlin Costello (Seaford, N.Y.) contributed seven points with three goals and a team-high four assists.
Jordana Tomasetti (Middletown, N.J.) added three goals and a team-high six draw controls. Erica Ortiz (Slate Hill, N.Y.) scored two goals which gives her a team-high of 32 goals on the season.
Sydney Strohmayer (Rocky Point, N.Y.), Anna Kaminskey (Mount Sinai, N.Y.), Julia Mitterando (Mastic, N.Y.), and Jada Garcia (Old Bridge, N.J.) each scored one goal in the win.
Felician was led by Tala Marzooq who scored three goals and added a team-high seven draw controls.
The Lady Chargers opened the game with their first goal less than one minute in and finished the first quarter with five unanswered goals. The Golden Falcons scored the first goal of the second quarter, but Dominican finished the first half by scoring nine out of the next ten goals for the 17-4 halftime lead.
The Lady Chargers added eight more goals in the second half on their way to the 25-6 victory.
The Lady Chargers return home this Friday, March 24th when they host Holy Family University at 7:00 PM.
