
LADY CHARGERS BACK IN THE WIN COLUMN AFTER DEFEATING CHESTNUT HILL COLLEGE

Dominican improves to 12-2 overall and 7-1 in conference play while Chestnut Hill falls to 5-8 overall and 2-5 in the CACC.
Kristinamarie Kaszovitz (Hicksville, N.Y.) started for Dominican and made two saves in 30 minutes of game action. Kathryn Ehrlinger (Levittown, N.Y.), Katharina Cohen (Sparta, N.J.), and Rebecca Nutting (Marcellus, N.Y.) also saw game action in net for the Lady Chargers.
Dominican opened the game with 10 goals in a strong first quarter with eight different goal scorers. The Lady Chargers added three more goals in the second quarter and entered the break leading 13-0.
Dominican added four goals in the third quarter and seven goals in the fourth quarter on their way to the 24-1 victory.
Caitlin Costello (Seaford, N.Y.) and Madelyn Grella (Monmouth Beach, N.J.) each led the way with eight points. Grella scored five goals and recorded three assists while Costello added two goals and added a team-high six assists.
Erica Ortiz (Slate Hill, N.Y.) also scored five goals and recorded one assist for six points. Grace DeStasio (West Hempstead, N.Y.) scored a team-high six goals and added one assist for seven points.
Anna Kaminskey (Mount Sinai, N.Y.) scored two goals while Ellie Brouwer (West Long Branch, N.J.) scored one goal and recorded one assist.
Sydney Strohmayer (Rocky Point, N.Y.), Jordana Tomasetti (Middletown, N.J.), and Julia Mitterando (Mastic, N.Y.) each added one goal.
The Lady Chargers return home tomorrow to host D'Youville University for their final non-conference game of the season at the Torne Valley Sports Complex at 2:00 PM.
