DOMINICAN'S COSTELLO NAMED TO IWLCA NCAA DIVISION II ALL-REGION TEAM

Northborough, Mass. (5/17/23) The IWLCA has honored 128 student-athletes in Division II with a selection to one of the All-Region teams for 2023. These student-athletes are now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team. The IWLCA will announce the 2023 All-American teams on May 18.

2023 IWLCA NCAA Division II All-Region Teams

Northborough, Mass. (5/17/23) The IWLCA has honored 128 student-athletes in Division II with a selection to one of the All-Region teams for 2023. These student-athletes are now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team. The IWLCA will announce the 2023 All-American teams on May 18.

Dominican University New York had one women's lacrosse player make the All-Region First Team as Caitlin Costello (Seaford, N.Y.) earns her first IWLCA All-Region accolades.

Costello was named the 2023 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Lacrosse Player of the Year and to the All-CACC First Team after a stellar season.  She led the conference in assists and points, while sitting 12th in groundballs and 15th in goals.  Costello led the Lady Chargers in assists and points and was third in groundballs and draw controls.

She is one of five players from the CACC to be named to the All-Region Teams.
