
COSTELLO NAMED TO IWLCA ALL-AMERICAN TEAM

(5/1923) The IWLCA has named the 48 student-athletes who were selected for one of the 2023 Division II All-American teams - honorees are divided into first, second, and third teams. The IWLCA All-Americans represent 22 different institutions and are the best athletes in our game this year.

Dominican University New York's Caitlin Costello (Seaford, N.Y.) was named to the All-American Third Team for the first time in her career.
Costello was recently named the 2023 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Lacrosse Player of the Year, the All-CACC First Team and the CACC All-Tournament Team after a standout season. She led the conference in assists and points, while sitting 12th in groundballs and 15th in goals. Costello led the Lady Chargers in assists and points and was third in groundballs and draw controls. She recorded her 100th career draw control vs Post University on March 28, 2023, a career high eight goals vs Post University on March 28, 2023, her 100th career assist vs Georgian Court University on April 1, 2023 and her 200th career point vs Alliance University on April 29, 2023.
Costello is the only player from the CACC to earn All-American accolades.
