
2024 CACC WOMEN'S TENNIS PRESEASON POLL RELEASED

New Haven, Conn. (8/29/24) Three-time defending champion Wilmington University on Thursday was picked first in the 2024 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Tennis Preseason Coaches' Poll as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. The Wildcats earned 24 points in the voting including four first-place votes.
Thomas Jefferson University, which has reached each of the last three conference championship finals, was tabbed second with 18 points, while Chestnut Hill College and Goldey-Beacom College tied for third with 16 points apiece.
The top-four teams in the standings following the regular season will advance to the CACC Championship tournament Oct. 19-20, at Delcastle Tennis Center in Delaware. The semifinals will be held on Saturday the 19th, followed by the final on Sunday the 20th. The winner of the CACC Championship will also lock up the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division II East Region Tournament in early May 2025 at a site to be determined.
