LADY CHARGERS COMPETE AT FASTRACK NATIONAL INVITE

Staten Island, N.Y. (2/7/25)  Members of the Dominican University New York women's track and field team traveled to the Fastrack National Invite held on Friday at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.

Freshman Genesis Jimenez had the high finish of 23rd place in the long jump event with a jump of 4.53m (14'10.5").

WOMEN'S RESULTS

  • Freshman Genesis Jimenez took 23rd place in the long jump with a jump of 4.53m (14'10.5").
  • Jimenez also competed in the 60m dash where she took 32nd place with a time of 8.86.
  • In the shot put, Julissa Velazquez finished in 33rd place with a throw of 9.58m (31'5.25").  Tori Benson took 36th place with a throw of 9.15m (30' 0.25").
